Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ambrosio Tiniebra got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Santo Bastiaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ranchos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santo Bastiaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dalmacio Abar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Tiniebra in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Ramon Cristofor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ranchos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 16th minute of the match Higinio Cordarrel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidio Goren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Villafañe AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Pascual Markel hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Santo Bastiaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidio Goren. Villafañe AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santo Bastiaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Dalmacio Abar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Tiniebra in the 26th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Villafañe AFC's Dalmacio Abar threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ambrosio Tiniebra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 28 played minutes Ranchos got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Petri. Villafañe AFC's Ambrosio Tiniebra got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ambrosio Tiniebra's late challenge caught a Ranchos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ambrosio Tiniebra helped the player get up and apologised. Fabio Palben got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-2 in the right cross in the 34th match minute before Dalmacio Abar had time to react. In the 39th minute, Ambrosio Tiniebra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dalmacio Abar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Tiniebra, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliberto Jurgi during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ranchos's Jonas Rius couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Villafañe AFC. After some careless play in the Villafañe AFC defense, Santo Bastiaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidio Goren. The Villafañe AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidio Goren should have stopped the shot. After the first half Ranchos were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santo Bastiaro to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Pascual Markel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Santo Bastiaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 minutes of play, Ranchos's Ramon Cristofor made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidio Goren was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 64 played minutes Ranchos got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Feo. Villafañe AFC's Generoso Tabor couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 65th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ranchos. Dalmacio Abar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Tiniebra in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Ranchos's Santo Bastiaro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ovidio Goren. Ovidio Goren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. After 73 played minutes Villafañe AFC got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Bordat. In the 77th minute, Fabio Palben left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villafañe AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. In the 83rd minute, Jonas Rius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute of the match Generoso Tabor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dalmacio Abar skillfully saved the ball. Ranchos's Dalmacio Abar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Jurgi in the 90th minute of play. Tiburcio Ignazio kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Ramon Cristofor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ovidio Goren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Villafañe AFC's Ovidio Goren got control of the ball when Ramon Cristofor tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Ranchos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ranchos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
