Spectators: 7251 (Terracing: 5440, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) The supporters of luzuriaga booed when Peña F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Dodorol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peña F.C.'s Joaquin Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Argenis in the 19th minute of play. Peña F.C.'s Fabian Toribio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 22nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 26th match minute, Peña F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Gervaso to maneuver through the defense. Alejandro Elizardo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hugo Ariando came out and tried to block the shot, but Alejandro Elizardo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 33rd minute. Augusto Argenis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Cortez having to interfere. Joaquin Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Argenis in the 42nd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Victorino Dolcet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Argenis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Joaquin Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Argenis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Cortez having to interfere. Joaquin Cortez made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Honorato Ugutz sent off a good shot on target. luzuriaga's Hugo Ariando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Elizardo in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, luzuriaga's Victorino Dolcet ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joaquin Cortez. Joaquin Cortez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Victorino Dolcet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st match minute, Peña F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Francesco to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 87 minutes, Fabian Toribio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peña F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Toribio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alejandro Elizardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Ariando having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Victorino Dolcet recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joaquin Cortez. Victorino Dolcet showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
