The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bernardo Matia hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. RONDAMON's Delmiro Palban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Taurino in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Bermund in the 7th minute of play forced Benítez FC's goalkeeper Uriel Quilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clodoveo Clis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Delmiro Palban made a huge save. A collision led to RONDAMON getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Bernardo Matia hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Santiago Heriberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Heriberto in the 22nd minute of play forced RONDAMON's goalkeeper Delmiro Palban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for RONDAMON! RONDAMON:s Delmiro Palban showed great skill when he stopped Saul Valery:s penalty. Clodoveo Clis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Everardo Bermund fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RONDAMON's protests and gave Everardo Bermund a yellow card for diving instead. Everardo Bermund kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Benítez FC's zone, Everardo Bermund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uriel Quilo came out of the goal and Everardo Bermund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute Everardo Bermund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Quilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pastor Gauargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Uriel Quilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Everardo Bermund to strike the kick off in the second half. After 67 played minutes RONDAMON got a freekick which was hit by Iker Loi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Clis in the 71st minute of play forced RONDAMON's goalkeeper Delmiro Palban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iker Loi during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iker Loi hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute of the match Saul Valery shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Delmiro Palban showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pastor Gauargi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Quilo having to interfere. Uriel Quilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Bermund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clodoveo Clis's late challenge caught a RONDAMON's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clodoveo Clis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Clodoveo Clis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Bernardo Matia fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RONDAMON's protests and gave Bernardo Matia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Benítez FC booed when RONDAMON was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Matia didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Benítez FC's Uriel Quilo got control of the ball when Pastor Gauargi tried to sneak it across the goal line. RONDAMON were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Benítez FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Justino Sasoin took the corner. After taking down the ball on RONDAMON's corner Fernan Haimar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Uriel Quilo quite easily take care of the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
