After having played for 5 minutes, Abel Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nasaló's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abel Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Froilan Sol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Generoso Gauargi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Sol having to interfere. Froilan Sol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Domingues in the 10th minute of the match. Romeo Sustrai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucio Elizardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Abel Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Sol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Domingues in the 21st minute of play forced Curupaity FC's goalkeeper Froilan Sol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 played minutes Curupaity FC got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Mitxaut. Alejandro Iliana was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Abel Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Froilan Sol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Generoso Gauargi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Froilan Sol was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 33rd minute, Curupaity FC's Romeo Sustrai ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lucio Elizardo. Lucio Elizardo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Romeo Sustrai struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Lucio Elizardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curupaity FC. Luciano Walme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Elizardo having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Lucio Elizardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Eguen in the 53rd minute of the match. Lucio Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Sustrai in the 55th minute of play. Curupaity FC's Romeo Sustrai got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ciro Eguen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Romeo Sustrai came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Curupaity FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeo Sustrai couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute Ciro Eguen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Elizardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ciro Eguen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Elizardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Sustrai, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Generoso Gauargi came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Froilan Sol could save by the left post. If Ciro Eguen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Sustrai in the 87th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Romeo Sustrai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucio Elizardo was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Curupaity FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nasaló had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
