An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Garoa in the 9th minute of play forced Marucha's goalkeeper Moises Feliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Marucha getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Anselmo Quirce hit a great ball. Moises Feliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Garoa in the 16th minute of play. Ovidio Liher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Feliz having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Marucha's Benicio Semeno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erasmo Bermund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Marucha booed when EL Guenguenchon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Iratxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Jonas Sansone sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and EL Guenguenchon's Erasmo Bermund didn't even have to move. After having played for 27 minutes, Ovidio Liher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL Guenguenchon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Liher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erasmo Bermund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Urtungo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Urtungo took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erasmo Bermund. Erasmo Bermund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in EL Guenguenchon's zone, Benicio Semeno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Bermund came out of the goal and Benicio Semeno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Daniel Urtungo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erasmo Bermund was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. 48 minutes into the match, EL Guenguenchon's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Urtungo came free, but Erasmo Bermund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Urtungo was the one to do the kick off. Erasmo Bermund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benicio Semeno in the 65th minute. Marucha's Daniel Urtungo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 69th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 80 minutes into the match, EL Guenguenchon's goalkeeper Erasmo Bermund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benicio Semeno. If Daniel Urtungo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th minute, Edgardo Orlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Daniel Urtungo fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The Marucha players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
