Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Danilo Jatsu made the kick off and thus started the match. Jacinto Orlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the game, Chilecito FC's Eusebio Bastiaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaudencio Tabby made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Danilo Jatsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gaudencio Tabby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute of the match, Eusebio Bastiaro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gaudencio Tabby was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Jatsu in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaudencio Tabby saved Banfield from getting behind. Danilo Jatsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Tabby having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Cristian Burni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chilecito FC's Pedro Caradaro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Banfield. If Eusebio Bastiaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaudencio Tabby made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Eusebio Bastiaro sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the game, Danilo Jatsu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gaudencio Tabby. Danilo Jatsu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacinto Orlin to make the kick off. A very nice done corner allowed Cristian Burni to score against Artemio Aztore in Chilecito FC's goal. 2-2 after 53 minutes. Danilo Jatsu might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaudencio Tabby. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danilo Jatsu ran back to his position shaking his head. 70 minutes into the game, Ubaldo Txatxu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chilecito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Banfield the free kick. In the 71st match minute, Chilecito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Txatxu to maneuver through the defense. Gaudencio Tabby came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Chilecito FC's Eusebio Bastiaro. But to his dismay, Eusebio Bastiaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The audience was convinced that Danilo Jatsu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaudencio Tabby was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Chilecito FC's Eusebio Bastiaro got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danilo Jatsu in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaudencio Tabby prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Banfield's goalkeeper Gaudencio Tabby, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gaudencio Tabby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Jatsu in the 94th minute of the match.
