Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Artemio Xabier kicked off to start the match. Club Sporting Marítimo's Silvano Evis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Xabier in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Payogastilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Polo came free, but Silvio Artaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Godofredo Geleberto came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Club Sporting Marítimo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godofredo Geleberto couldn't finish the play. In the 8th match minute, Payogastilla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Etxeberri to maneuver through the defense. When Gaspar Petri came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Payogastilla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Petri couldn't finish the play. Silvano Evis made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Gaspar Petri sent off a good shot on target. Silvio Artaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Polo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Artemio Xabier kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Silvano Evis. That made the score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Artemio Xabier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Silvano Evis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Payogastilla FC's Gaspar Petri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvano Evis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Gaspar Petri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Payogastilla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Petri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvano Evis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the match, Payogastilla FC's Artemio Xabier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvano Evis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Teobaldo Frascuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspar Petri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Silvano Evis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvano Evis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Xabier in the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baldomiro Polo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silvano Evis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Xabier in the 54th minute of play. Silvio Artaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Polo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Petri in the 58th minute of play forced Club Sporting Marítimo's goalkeeper Silvano Evis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Santos Goren fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Payogastilla FC's protests and gave Santos Goren a yellow card for diving instead. Santos Goren hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Club Sporting Marítimo's Cristian Salvidor got a free kick in the 76th minute. Justo Tello, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Club Sporting Marítimo getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Teobaldo Frascuelo hit a great ball. If Gaspar Petri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Payogastilla FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
