Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Leo Gabon started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Luxardo AFC's zone, Serafin Domiku stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Eate came out of the goal and Serafin Domiku tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Godfredo Gorbea fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salado's protests and gave Godfredo Gorbea a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Luxardo AFC booed when Salado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Gorbea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leo Gabon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Pere having to interfere. Leonides Pere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Gabon in the 19th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Ermegildo Egoitz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Salado's Leonides Pere. Leonides Pere was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute, Julian Beti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonides Pere stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leo Gabon's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 31st match minute, Salado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Dominguez to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Salado's goalkeeper Leonides Pere, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonides Pere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Gabon in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Luxardo AFC's Amadeo Geleberto got a free kick in the 36th minute. Salado's Leonides Pere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Egoitz in the 38th minute of play. After 41 minutes, Ermegildo Egoitz made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Salado's Leonides Pere tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafin Domiku got free with Severiano Eate in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonides Pere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Gabon, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Luxardo AFC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaston Cordeara was the one to do the kick off. If Leo Gabon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 53 minutes into the match, Leo Gabon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leonides Pere, 0-4. Gaston Cordeara hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Leonides Pere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Gabon, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Cordeara in the 68th minute of play forced Luxardo AFC's goalkeeper Severiano Eate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Ugaitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luxardo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salado the free kick. In the 69th minute, Arnoldo Ugaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herminio Oskarbi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Salado booed when Luxardo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Luar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Leo Gabon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luxardo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Gabon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonides Pere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Salado's Leonides Pere got control of the ball when Ermegildo Egoitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ermegildo Egoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Leonides Pere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonides Pere was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Leo Gabon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leo Gabon really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Amadeo Geleberto was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 94th minute Leo Gabon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Pere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Luxardo AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
