Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonides Pancho started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Mojón's goalkeeper Benjamin Gonchan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santos Pinto. Serafin Bernebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Mendez having to interfere. Colola AFC's Octavio Mendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Atarrabi in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Atarrabi in the 15th minute of play forced Colola AFC's goalkeeper Octavio Mendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Gonchan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Pancho in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, Mojón's Benjamin Gonchan got control of the ball when Santos Pinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benjamin Gonchan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Pancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Roque Atarrabi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octavio Mendez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Roque Atarrabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mojón's zone, Leonides Pancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Gonchan came out of the goal and Leonides Pancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin Gonchan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Pancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Eusebio Deunoro hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Colola AFC's Aquilino Tabb couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 49th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mojón. After the first half Mojón were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serafin Bernebe to make the kick off. Colola AFC's Santos Pinto got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benjamin Gonchan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonides Pancho's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mojón's goalkeeper Benjamin Gonchan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Colola AFC's Octavio Mendez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Colola AFC from getting a goal against them. When Benedicto Venerando fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colola AFC's protests and gave Benedicto Venerando a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st match minute, Colola AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Venerando to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Gonchan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Pinto in the 76th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mojón's zone, Santos Pinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Gonchan came out of the goal and Santos Pinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Leonides Pancho came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Colola AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Pancho couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mojón had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
