Froilan Ignatius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Bertran went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 13th match minute, La Mancha de Gorbachov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Aurre to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in La Mancha de Gorbachov's zone, Isaac Mikelar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Estebano came out of the goal and Isaac Mikelar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Froilan Ignatius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Aurre in the 19th minute of play. With a little luck, La Mancha de Gorbachov's Augusto Estebano got control of the ball when Armando Sayvion tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isaac Mikelar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Estebano having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, La Mancha de Gorbachov's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Mikelar came free, but Augusto Estebano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaudencio Aurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bicha's Froilan Ignatius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Bertran in the 36th minute of play. Nemesio Eladio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldomero Iigo during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Froilan Ignatius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Aurre, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Augusto Estebano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Mikelar in the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustavo Bertran was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nemesio Eladio during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
