If Freddy Gumaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albino Dino charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albino Dino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, Ferrocarrilera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Dino to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Barbosa in the 17th minute of play forced Meta Palo y a la Bolsa's goalkeeper Melquiades Domeka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Roque Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Efrain Arnas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Melquiades Domeka. Meta Palo y a la Bolsa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Melquiades Lonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27thth minute of the game Roque Barbosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meta Palo y a la Bolsa's Melquiades Domeka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Meta Palo y a la Bolsa getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Saturnino Francesco hit a great ball. The supporters of Ferrocarrilera booed when Meta Palo y a la Bolsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Francesco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ferrocarrilera's Enrique Remigio tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Melquiades Domeka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Barbosa in the 34th minute of play. Melquiades Domeka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Erasto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st match minute, Meta Palo y a la Bolsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Orkatz to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Freddy Gumaro made a kick off. Emanuel Kemen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Marcial Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferrocarrilera's Roque Barbosa got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th match minute, Meta Palo y a la Bolsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Orkatz to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute Melquiades Lonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Domeka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melquiades Domeka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Meta Palo y a la Bolsa's Freddy Gumaro in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ferrocarrilera's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Freddy Gumaro sped through Ferrocarrilera's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcial Martinez. Emanuel Kemen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Marcial Martinez made a huge save. When Roque Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Ferrocarrilera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roque Barbosa couldn't finish the play. Ferrocarrilera's Marcial Martinez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Ferrocarrilera from getting a goal against them. Emanuel Kemen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Marcial Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ferrocarrilera getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Albino Dino hit a great ball. Americo Erasto's late challenge caught a Meta Palo y a la Bolsa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Americo Erasto helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 played minutes Ferrocarrilera got a freekick which was hit by Americo Erasto. 96 minutes into the match, Melquiades Lonzo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Meta Palo y a la Bolsa's Melquiades Domeka. Melquiades Domeka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ferrocarrilera players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
