With his leg Constantino Eskuin managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Capdeville's Abel Idacio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Honorato Matxin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tamberías's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorato Matxin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaudencio Magdaleno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honorato Matxin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Eulalio Lizardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 14 minutes into the game, when Daniel Oriche put in a rough tackle. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Honorato Matxin sped through Capdeville's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gaudencio Magdaleno. Ciriaco Pereyra kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. When Pascual Salbatore fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tamberías's protests and gave Pascual Salbatore a yellow card for diving instead. 27 minutes into the game, one of Tamberías:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Eulalio Lizardi charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eulalio Lizardi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Tamberías. Pascual Milio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gaudencio Magdaleno. 1-3. Honorato Matxin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorato Matxin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Gaudencio Magdaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Capdeville defense, Honorato Matxin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaudencio Magdaleno. The Capdeville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaudencio Magdaleno should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Abel Idacio made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Artemio Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tamberías's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artemio Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honorato Matxin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Tamberías's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Capdeville's Gaudencio Magdaleno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Capdeville from getting a goal against them. Artemio Torress short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Gaudencio Magdaleno to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Honorato Matxin in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaudencio Magdaleno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute Honorato Matxin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Magdaleno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Matxin in the 71st minute of play forced Capdeville's goalkeeper Gaudencio Magdaleno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Honorato Matxin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Magdaleno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filomeno Espiridion's late challenge caught a Tamberías's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filomeno Espiridion helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th match minute, Capdeville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Espiridion to maneuver through the defense. Gaudencio Magdaleno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artemio Torres in the 86th minute. Artemio Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artemio Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Magdaleno having to interfere. Gaudencio Magdaleno was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Honorato Matxin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-8 in the 97 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Tamberías left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Capdeville.
