Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Llanos in the 4th minute of play forced Selvas FC's goalkeeper Tomás Gaizko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Gaizko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Benitez in the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Selvas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Benitez came free, but Tomás Gaizko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Atilano Gartxot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Aurelio Nardo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ruben Benino. The goal made the score 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Guardamonte FC's zone, Aurelio Nardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Benino came out of the goal and Aurelio Nardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Marco Llanos fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guardamonte FC's protests and gave Marco Llanos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rdth minute of the game Astor Benitez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Selvas FC's Tomás Gaizko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Guardamonte FC's goalkeeper Ruben Benino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justino Intxixu. In the 38th minute, Aurelio Nardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Justino Intxixu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Benino having to interfere. If Aurelio Nardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Generoso Ermano made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Justino Intxixu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guardamonte FC's Ruben Benino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomás Gaizko made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Astor Benitez sent off a good shot on target. Generoso Ermano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Gaizko having to interfere. With a little luck, Selvas FC's Tomás Gaizko got control of the ball when Astor Benitez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute, Hermengildo Chesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justino Intxixu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 68 minutes of play, Selvas FC's Justino Intxixu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruben Benino was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 73rd minute, Marco Llanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ladislao Telesforo, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 76 minutes into the game, Fabricio Lucila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Selvas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guardamonte FC the free kick. Astor Benitez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Guardamonte FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 86 minutes into the match, Selvas FC's Justino Intxixu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruben Benino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Justino Intxixu struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ruben Benino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selvas FC. 90 minutes into the match, Guardamonte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Nardo came free, but Ruben Benino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Justino Intxixu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Benino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Nardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ruben Benino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 98 played minutes Guardamonte FC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Iaki.
