Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silvano Nikola started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Erubiel Hermon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iker Abascal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Silvano Nikola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Gizon in the 12th minute of play forced Hoyón AFC's goalkeeper Iker Abascal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Hoyón AFC defense, Ermegildo Gizon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iker Abascal. The Hoyón AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iker Abascal should have stopped the shot. Iker Abascal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Gizon in the 23rd minute of play. Ermegildo Gizon hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Silvano Nikola reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Saul Orlanda. The goal made the score 1-2. Mario Piearres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Saul Orlanda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erubiel Hermon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Iker Abascal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Erubiel Hermon struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Iker Abascal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esmeralda FC. Iker Abascal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Gizon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esmeralda FC's Saul Orlanda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Piearres in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute Mario Piearres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Orlanda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Hoyón AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Gizon came free, but Iker Abascal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvano Nikola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Orlanda having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Esmeralda FC's Zeledon Mikeldi got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Silvano Nikola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esmeralda FC's Saul Orlanda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Piearres in the 85th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Gizon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iker Abascal. Ermegildo Gizon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Esmeralda FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
