Spectators: 6675 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Oscar Garaona kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, Palacios AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Federigo to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Umbruso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Nataniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the game, Claypole's Francisco Estavan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Umbruso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Victorio Ferdinand made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Sergio Estebano sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Estebano got free with Victorio Ferdinand in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the match, Palacios AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Estavan came free, but Emilio Umbruso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Garaona in the 21st minute of play forced Claypole's goalkeeper Victorio Ferdinand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Claypole's Ricardo Diagur got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Fermin Federigo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Claypole's Victorio Ferdinand didn't even have to move. After 30 played minutes Claypole got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Isidor. If Oscar Garaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emilio Umbruso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Nataniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nestor Nataniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Umbruso having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Blas Benvido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palacios AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Claypole the free kick. Blas Benvido hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute Claypole were awarded a corner. Froilan Eduino went to the cornerflag to take it. Claypole's Luciano Elia was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emilio Umbruso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

In the 53rd minute Oscar Garaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Ferdinand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Nataniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Umbruso having to interfere. If Oscar Garaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorio Ferdinand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Estebano in the 73rd minute of play. Sergio Estebano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Victorio Ferdinand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Garaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victorio Ferdinand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Nestor Nataniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Umbruso having to interfere. Palacios AFC's Emilio Umbruso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Diagur in the 94th minute of play. Francisco Estavan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Umbruso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Claypole's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
