After 28 played minutes Cieneguita FC got a freekick which was hit by Americo Loren. The supporters of Cieneguita FC booed when Suncho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Mincho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Teobaldo Mederi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cieneguita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobaldo Mederi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luis Monico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Kauldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Teobaldo Mederi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th minute, Lino Kauldi made a precise shot to the right of Luis Monico. Suncho FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Kauldi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Cieneguita FC booed when Suncho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Eufrasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Lino Kauldi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Monico was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Suncho FC defense, Teobaldo Mederi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Monico. The Suncho FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Monico should have stopped the shot. Cieneguita FC's Teobaldo Mederi got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85thth minute of the game Rogelio Fiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cieneguita FC's Benicio Udalaitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luis Monico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Kauldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Suncho FC's zone, Teobaldo Mederi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Monico came out of the goal and Teobaldo Mederi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
