But to his dismay, Evelio Fernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Cirilo Ixaka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Cloyo in the 19th minute of play forced Club atletico Lavatuppers's goalkeeper Jacinto Eron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Tuisón FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ulises Pitin hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Cirilo Ixaka notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Tuisón FC's Uriel Inko. Uriel Inko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Evelio Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Inko having to interfere. Cirilo Ixaka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Uriel Inko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club atletico Lavatuppers's Evelio Fernandez pulled a muscle in his leg after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Club atletico Lavatuppers booed when Tuisón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Lleir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club atletico Lavatuppers's Damian Gentza got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Ixaka in the 41st minute of play forced Tuisón FC's goalkeeper Uriel Inko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Andres Cloyo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacinto Eron. That made the score 1-2 in the 44 minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andres Cloyo was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Tuisón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Ixaka came free, but Uriel Inko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Ulises Pitin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tuisón FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Cirilo Ixaka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Astor Tab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andres Cloyo took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Eron. Jacinto Eron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Jacinto Eron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Etxepare, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 71 played minutes Club atletico Lavatuppers got a freekick which was hit by David Constancio. In the 73rd minute, Andres Cloyo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacinto Eron was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. After a rather tough play, Club atletico Lavatuppers's Julio Txerran got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Andres Cloyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Eron having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Bernardo Savier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tuisón FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Savier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Eron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernardo Savier's late challenge caught a Club atletico Lavatuppers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Savier helped the player get up and apologised. Club atletico Lavatuppers's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
