Edgard Arnau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Timoteo Gerazan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Felipe Benvido. The goal made the score 1-2. Max Power Futbol Club's Edgard Arnau got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timoteo Gerazan to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes, Max Power Futbol Club's Enrique Nahia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Felipe Benvido came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Felipe Benvido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Gerazan, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Mapis's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Arnau came free, but Felipe Benvido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mapis's zone, Edgard Arnau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Benvido came out of the goal and Edgard Arnau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Timoteo Gerazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mapis had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
