Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Batán's Jaime Chale started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Reynaldo Cordara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Silvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 11 played minutes Leo Silvino rounded Batán's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After a rather tough play, Batán's Fernan Quin got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Leo Silvino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reynaldo Cordara was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Jaime Chale came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Batán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Chale couldn't finish the play. The nice shot from Silverio Elija in the 27thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Reynaldo Cordara had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 28th match minute, Batán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Ibon to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Chale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Aurken having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Chale in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sixto Aurken saved .C.A.Independiente from getting behind. A collision led to .C.A.Independiente getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Isaac Edorta hit a great ball. Sixto Aurken came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Batán's Jaime Chale. But to his dismay, Jaime Chale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Leo Silvino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reynaldo Cordara having to make a save. If Silverio Elija had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Silvino in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reynaldo Cordara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Leo Silvino made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Leo Silvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Cordara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narciso Sayveon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Sixto Aurken made a huge save. Narciso Sayveon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sixto Aurken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Jerrold hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. .C.A.Independiente's Marcelo Ulizes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 88th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Batán. Leo Silvino succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. The audience was convinced that Silverio Elija's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reynaldo Cordara was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. .C.A.Independiente's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
