Elvio Ourente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Bero in the 3rd minute of play. If Aristides Baumer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Mute F.C's Ceferino Cresencio got a free kick in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Baumer in the 10th minute of play forced Mute F.C's goalkeeper Cesar Ulizes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elvio Ourente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Tuste, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Artemio Bero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Ourente having to interfere. When Artemio Bero came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Mute F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Bero couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, Aristides Baumer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cesar Ulizes. The goal made the score 1-0. Mute F.C's Lázaro Tuste got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Mute F.C booed when Barrialito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Normando didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrialito AFC's goalkeeper Elvio Ourente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lázaro Tuste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Elvio Ourente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Aristides Baumer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrialito AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Baumer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesar Ulizes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Mute F.C getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ceferino Cresencio hit a great ball. In the 48th minute of the match Benicio Constancio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cesar Ulizes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aristides Baumer was the one to do the kick off. If Mateo Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesar Ulizes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Baumer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristides Baumer scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cesar Ulizes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Artemio Bero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elvio Ourente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Bero in the 74th minute of the match. Mateo Rodriguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Ulizes having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melquiades Lon during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Melquiades Lon kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Artemio Bero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lázaro Tuste got free with Elvio Ourente in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elvio Ourente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lázaro Tuste in the 92nd minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Lázaro Tuste managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mute F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Tuste was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lázaro Tuste struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Elvio Ourente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mute F.C. Barrialito AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
