Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Roque Lorencio took the kick off in the first half of the match. Unión's Haroldo Canor got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leandro Luix kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Haroldo Canor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Lucas Nel fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored las locas's protests and gave Lucas Nel a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes las locas got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Nel. After having played for 14 minutes, Adolfo Silbestre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unión's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Silbestre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haroldo Canor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teobaldo Toribio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haroldo Canor's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Roque Lorencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Arnulfo Tabb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, Unión was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Lopes to maneuver through the defense. las locas's Nereo Cruz took a good shot, in the 35th minute, which hit the crossbar above Arnulfo Tabb's head, and flew over the goal. Unión's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by las locas. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teofilo Bernaldo in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnulfo Tabb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Roque Lorencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 46 minutes, Teofilo Bernaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. las locas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Bernaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Haroldo Canor to strike the kick off in the second half. Adolfo Silbestre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Toribio having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Unión's goalkeeper Arnulfo Tabb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofilo Bernaldo. In the 61st minute, Roque Lorencio made a precise shot to the right of Arnulfo Tabb. Unión's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Canor in the 65th minute of play forced las locas's goalkeeper Teobaldo Toribio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Leandro Luix cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Arnulfo Tabb was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of las locas booed when Unión was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Ruy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Unión's zone, Teofilo Bernaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Tabb came out of the goal and Teofilo Bernaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the match, Unión's goalkeeper Arnulfo Tabb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofilo Bernaldo. Teofilo Bernaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Tabb having to interfere. In the 78th minute of the game, Leandro Luix landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Haroldo Canor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Teobaldo Toribio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, las locas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Nel to maneuver through the defense. Haroldo Canor struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Teobaldo Toribio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unión. Teofilo Bernaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teobaldo Toribio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Canor in the 95th minute of the match.
