Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Domingo Urtats got the match started through his kick off. After 4 minutes of play, Pinamar's Diego Aimar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelino Rudolfo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcelino Rudolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Amato in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute Domingo Urtats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Rudolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anastasio Balendin hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 17 minutes, Luisito Amato made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Zárate AFC's Marcelino Rudolfo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pinamar's Roberto Johans couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Zárate AFC. Luisito Amato struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Marcelino Rudolfo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinamar. After a defensive mix-up in Zárate AFC's zone, Luisito Amato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelino Rudolfo came out of the goal and Luisito Amato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes into the match, Pinamar's goalkeeper Moises Dolcet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximo Modestio. Maximo Modestio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Moises Dolcet made a huge save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aquilino Euloxu made a kick off. Domingo Urtats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Marcelino Rudolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anastasio Balendin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moises Dolcet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. If Aquilino Euloxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Pinamar's Diego Aimar got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute of the match Aquiles Frutos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Moises Dolcet showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Diego Aimar fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pinamar's protests and gave Diego Aimar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Diego Aimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Pinamar getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Diego Aimar hit a great ball. After 73 minutes Pinamar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aquiles Frutos who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Aquiles Frutos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pinamar's Moises Dolcet did a great save. If Aquilino Euloxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Luisito Amato came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Pinamar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisito Amato couldn't finish the play. Marcelino Rudolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Urtats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moises Dolcet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Modestio in the 84th minute of play. After 85 played minutes Zárate AFC got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Stanislao. Zárate AFC's Marcelino Rudolfo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Zárate AFC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Urtats in the 91st minute of play forced Zárate AFC's goalkeeper Marcelino Rudolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Pinamar players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
