Tambillos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Bakar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Tambillos getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Alvaro Lertxun hit a great ball. If Benjamin Bakar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Horacio Leheren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pritiau FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Marcelo Cuarto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Benvido in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Cuarto in the 58th minute of play forced Pritiau FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Cuarto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodoro Cuarto scored 1-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo Cuarto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelo Cuarto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Bakar in the 63rd minute of the match. Benjamin Bakar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Marcelo Cuarto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelo Cuarto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The audience was convinced that Teodoro Cuarto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Cuarto was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Teodoro Cuarto put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marcelo Cuarto. In the 80th minute, Benjamin Bakar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Tambillos's Leonides Lastur broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 86 minutes into the match, Pritiau FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Cuarto came free, but Marcelo Cuarto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
