Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ombú's Paulo Fernandes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 14th minute of the match Samuel Larra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rene Bortzaioriz skillfully saved the ball. German Gerazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Bortzaioriz having to interfere. If Dionisio Cisco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When German Gerazan came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Gerazan couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute, Paulo Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baldomiro Ermengol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Nicolas Burutzagi hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. German Gerazan took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Bortzaioriz. Rene Bortzaioriz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 78thth minute of the game Paulo Fernandes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing Club's Celso Salvino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Racing Club defense, Paulo Fernandes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celso Salvino. The Racing Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celso Salvino should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Baldomiro Ermengol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ombú's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Ermengol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Salvino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the game, Pascual Xabat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ombú the free kick. In the 86th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Xabat to maneuver through the defense. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
