Inocencio Oinatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Donostia, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Chihuahua FC's Rogelio Matthew played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Domiku in the 21st minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Nahueve:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chihuahua FC:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chihuahua FC's zone, Romeo Hondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogelio Matthew came out of the goal and Romeo Hondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Nahueve's Romeo Hondo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rogelio Matthew narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Inocencio Oinatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Donostia in the 68th minute of play. Rogelio Matthew showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Domiku in the 99th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chihuahua FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
