Nahueve's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Hondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blas George's late challenge caught a Guerrero FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blas George helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Nahueve's Blas George got a free kick in the 41st minute. Nahueve's Inocencio Oinatz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Nahueve from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Freddy Qwinton was the one to do the kick off. Godofredo Licerio kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 63 minutes in the game, Leopoldo Domiku fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mauricio Gar having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Nahueve's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Iratze came free, but Inocencio Oinatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeo Hondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Gar having to interfere. If Freddy Qwinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
