In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Conlara's goalkeeper Melchor Inocente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Conlara getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Augusto Hartz hit a great ball. After 8 played minutes, Metán's Nestor Chinto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Melchor Inocente came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Metán reached it. Felix Fresco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Haimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Evaristo Maiorga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Fresco having to interfere. Leonardo Dodorol kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Conlara's Moises Tximitx couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Metán. Felix Fresco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evaristo Maiorga's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. If Mateo Haimar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Conlara getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Augusto Hartz hit a great ball. Guido Orixe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Inocente having to interfere. If Amador Gartzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Barros hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. A collision led to Conlara getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Dalmacio Luzaide hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Melchor Inocente successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Felix Fresco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Haimar in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 51st match minute, Metán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Frederico to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the game, Mateo Haimar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felix Fresco. Mateo Haimar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Evaristo Maiorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Metán's Guido Orixe pulled a muscle in his back after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 60 minutes, Moises Tximitx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Conlara and the Metán players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Conlara's Moises Tximitx got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Amador Gartzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Isidro Haitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Metán's Felix Fresco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Metán from getting a goal against them. Mateo Haimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Conlara had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
