Spectators: 6641 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 0) Yapeyú's Paulo Precioso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Miramar FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Iker Clementi hit a great ball. In the 9thth minute of the game Paulo Precioso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miramar FC's Mauricio Bernabel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miramar FC's Rene Abaurre got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Orlondo in the 17th minute of play forced Yapeyú's goalkeeper Ricardo Locaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Yapeyú's Emanuel Gorbea got a free kick in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Yapeyú's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Abaurre came free, but Ricardo Locaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 played minutes Miramar FC got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Theodore. Gerardo Montrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Locaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Orlondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Moises Orlondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Locaio came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Miramar FC's Rene Abaurre. But to his dismay, Rene Abaurre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 42 minutes into the match, Rene Abaurre notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Yapeyú's Ricardo Locaio. Ricardo Locaio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulo Precioso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Mauricio Bernabel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moises Orlondo was the one to do the kick off. Mauricio Bernabel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Precioso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Rene Abaurre notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Yapeyú's Ricardo Locaio. Ricardo Locaio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Rene Abaurre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miramar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Abaurre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Locaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute Moises Orlondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Locaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Emanuel Gorbea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moises Orlondo struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Ricardo Locaio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miramar FC. Mauricio Bernabel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Precioso went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Paulo Precioso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Bernabel having to interfere. After 84 minutes, Emanuel Gorbea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yapeyú and the Miramar FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Miramar FC booed when Yapeyú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Gorbea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miramar FC were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Yapeyú's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alberto Umbruso took the corner. The corner ended in Alberto Umbruso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Yapeyú's Ricardo Locaio did a great save. If Paulo Precioso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
