The supporters of Rivera AFC booed when Peralta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Tanio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Eleuterio Tanio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benicio Francho was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. After 16 minutes of play, Peralta FC's Leonardo Gotzon made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benicio Francho was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Leonardo Gotzon came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Peralta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Gotzon couldn't finish the play. Zeledon Muno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Valiente having to interfere. In the 26thth minute of the game Leonardo Gotzon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rivera AFC's Benicio Francho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Celedonio Valiente managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Rivera AFC's Vicente Lehoi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Celedonio Valiente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Muno in the 31st minute of the match. Vicente Lehoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Celedonio Valiente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, one of Peralta FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Peralta FC. When the match had been going on for 36 minutes, Rivera AFC's Honorio Udalaitz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Celedonio Valiente. If Vicente Lehoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Peralta FC's Justino Sendoa got a free kick in the 42nd minute. With a little luck, Peralta FC's Celedonio Valiente got control of the ball when Vicente Lehoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Rivera AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peralta FC were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Eleuterio Tanio made the kick off in the second half. Benicio Francho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Tanio in the 56th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eleuterio Tanio in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benicio Francho saved Rivera AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Tanio in the 64th minute of play forced Rivera AFC's goalkeeper Benicio Francho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Vicente Lehoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peralta FC's Eleuterio Tanio got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rivera AFC's goalkeeper Benicio Francho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Vicente Lehoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Rivera AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peralta FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Peralta FC.
