An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Aurre in the 31st minute of play forced Argüello AFC's goalkeeper Silvano Eleder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ubaldo Panfilo in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clodoveo Birjaio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ubaldo Panfilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emiliano Aurre was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantino Naike in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 95thth minute of the game Ubaldo Panfilo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coig's Clodoveo Birjaio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Constantino Naike sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nereo Raitin's late challenge caught a Argüello AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nereo Raitin helped the player get up and apologised. Coig's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
