Tomas Ospetsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Fernanco in the 18th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Jimeno Lesardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dúrham FC and the Atletico Y Progreso players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Atletico Y Progreso booed when Dúrham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Lesardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Dúrham FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Prospero Ortzi hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Dúrham FC's goalkeeper Norberto Eliazar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adan Errando. Tomas Ospetsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Fernanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Casimiro Colas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramiro Fernanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Ospetsu having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Romulo Inocente made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Prospero Ortzi made a precise shot to the right of Tomas Ospetsu. Atletico Y Progreso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Carmelo Lizardi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Dúrham FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tomas Ospetsu was a little too slow when Carmelo Lizardi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardino Nataniel during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Atletico Y Progreso's Bernardino Nataniel got a free kick in the 70th minute. Ramiro Fernanco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramiro Fernanco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Tomas Ospetsu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tomas Ospetsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Lizardi in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Atletico Y Progreso's goalkeeper Tomas Ospetsu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro Fernanco. Tomas Ospetsu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Dúrham FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
