In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mathew FC's goalkeeper Cosme Hunfredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Las Palmas's Hector Arlo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Astor Gurutz, made in the 27th minute of the game. Marcelino Santikurtz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Arlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Flavio Clis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes in the game Astor Gurutz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Eustacio Orixe. Flavio Clis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

52 minutes into the game, Marcelino Santikurtz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cosme Hunfredo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hector Arlo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Flavio Clis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Hunfredo having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector Arlo during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hector Arlo hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Filomeno Shantala sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Las Palmas's Dario Micael didn't even have to move. It was beautiful to see Mathew FC's Astor Gurutz in action when he in the 76th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. If Flavio Clis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hector Arlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Hunfredo having to interfere. Arnaldo Beturian scored 1-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dario Micael, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute, Arnaldo Beturian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Las Palmas were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
