Spectators: 7154 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 10) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Silvestre Otsoa kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd match minute, San Martin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Otsoa to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Martin FC's goalkeeper Denis Eliazar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. San Martin FC's Silvestre Otsoa got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Botija's zone, Silvano Martino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristobal Damario came out of the goal and Silvano Martino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristobal Damario came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by San Martin FC's Silvestre Otsoa. But to his dismay, Silvestre Otsoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Silvestre Otsoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvano Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atilano Jorrin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 27 played minutes Botija got a freekick which was hit by Federico Mincho. In the 30th match minute, Botija was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Tino to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Otsoa in the 36th minute of play forced Botija's goalkeeper Cristobal Damario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Atilano Jorrin fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Botija's protests and gave Atilano Jorrin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Botija getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Atilano Jorrin hit a great ball. After the first half San Martin FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pascual Tino made a kick off. Moises Goi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristobal Damario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Atilano Jorrin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Botija's supporters rose to their feet, but Atilano Jorrin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Eliazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvano Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Silvestre Otsoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Silvano Martino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Martin FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Julio Diaz's late challenge caught a Botija's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Diaz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, San Martin FC's Julio Diaz got a free kick in the 68th minute. 77 minutes into the match, San Martin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Tino came free, but Denis Eliazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Botija booed when San Martin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Loramendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pascual Tino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Eliazar having to interfere. With a little luck, Botija's Cristobal Damario got control of the ball when Silvano Martino tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 96 minutes, Pascual Tino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Botija's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascual Tino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. San Martin FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
