The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Hanni in the 10th minute of play forced Fracrán FC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Damario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melquiades Sayveon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Miliano in the 20th minute of play forced Fracrán FC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Damario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ivan Felo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalmacio Damario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Miliano in the 26th minute of play. Fidel Eyague charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fidel Eyague the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casimiro Miliano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dalmacio Damario made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Israel Rencio sent off a good shot on target. When Faustino Hanni came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Almagro AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustino Hanni couldn't finish the play. In the last second Dalmacio Damario throw himself and got hold of the ball when Casimiro Miliano in the 85thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a rather tough play, Almagro AFC's Lorenzo Lopez got a free kick in the 87th minute. The Almagro AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Almagro AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
