Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. When Everardo Fagondo came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the claypole City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Fagondo couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute Melquiades Dunixi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Carlomagno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes, Efrain Salbatore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quebrachal and the claypole City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Santos Carlomagno was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Raimundo Garikoitz took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Senen. Lucas Senen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 29th minute, Everardo Fagondo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Vinicio Jerardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Lucas Senen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abelardo Urko in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santos Carlomagno saved claypole City from getting behind. Everardo Fagondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Lucas Senen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vinicio Jerardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 49 minutes into the match, claypole City's Vinicio Jerardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucas Senen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Everardo Fagondo made a kick off. 63 minutes into the match, claypole City's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Urko came free, but Santos Carlomagno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Placido Stanislao was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Quebrachal's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Fagondo came free, but Lucas Senen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vinicio Jerardo during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, claypole City's Vinicio Jerardo got a free kick in the 74th minute. Vinicio Jerardo struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Lucas Senen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for claypole City. Silvio Jakue received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Santos Carlomagno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Silvio Jakue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Abelardo Urko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The claypole City fans cheered their team off the field, for while Quebrachal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
