Sueldos's Saverio Procopio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Sueldos from getting a goal against them. Melquiades Edwardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Saverio Procopio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saverio Procopio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Edwardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Simon Osorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Micael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Cantadero's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Cerilo came free, but Simon Osorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Cantadero's Melquiades Edwardo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 18th minute, Melquiades Edwardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Simon Osorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Micael, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Inocencio Cerilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Cipriano Micael took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon Osorio. Simon Osorio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Cantadero's Simon Osorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Micael in the 43rd minute of play. Cipriano Micael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melquiades Edwardo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Ruperto Enetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aldo Bazil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saverio Procopio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 65th minute, Inocencio Cerilo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simon Osorio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Aldo Bazil might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saverio Procopio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aldo Bazil ran back to his position shaking his head. 73 minutes into the match, Sueldos's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Edwardo came free, but Saverio Procopio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Edwardo in the 76th minute of play forced Sueldos's goalkeeper Saverio Procopio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Micael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Osorio having to interfere. Inocencio Cerilo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simon Osorio having to make a save. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cantadero! The referee gave Sueldos a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sixto Ezkerra, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cantadero's Simon Osorio. 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sueldos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
