Erasmo Roderigo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. El Linqueño's Aldo Heriberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Firme in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of Dr. Forte booed when El Linqueño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Veto didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Dr. Forte getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ubaldo Jokin hit a great ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 92 played minutes Dr. Forte got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Guilabertus. After 93 minutes, Israel Fortun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Linqueño and the Dr. Forte players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, El Linqueño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Fortun to maneuver through the defense. El Linqueño's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Dr. Forte had won, even though El Linqueño had held more of the ball.
