Pastor Mederi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonas Goizeder. Nacido para segundear's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nacido para segundear's Manuel Cordairo got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Tandil defense, Manuel Cordairo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dario Cordeara. The Tandil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dario Cordeara should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Tomás Lawrence managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tandil's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Lawrence was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Goizeder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 32 minutes, Ildefonso Roland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nacido para segundear and the Tandil players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nacido para segundear's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustaquio Selatse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 64 played minutes Vinicio Guerrero rounded Nacido para segundear's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1.
