Ezpeleta AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nogalito FC the free kick. 8 minutes into the game, Ezpeleta AFC's Victor Godoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atilano Lizbeth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Victor Godoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Lizbeth having to interfere. When Amado Tximitx fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ezpeleta AFC's protests and gave Amado Tximitx a yellow card for diving instead. Amado Tximitx hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The supporters of Nogalito FC booed when Ezpeleta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Sol didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeo Dacio got free with Cornelio Gudesteo in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the game, Ezpeleta AFC's Victor Godoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atilano Lizbeth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 28th minute Victor Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Lizbeth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elpidio Sol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Nogalito FC's zone, Victor Godoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilano Lizbeth came out of the goal and Victor Godoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elpidio Sol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Atilano Lizbeth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ezpeleta AFC's Elpidio Sol got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Nogalito FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ezpeleta AFC were winning 0-3.

Atilano Lizbeth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elpidio Sol in the 54th minute. Victor Godoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Atilano Lizbeth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes in the game, Victor Godoy fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Atilano Lizbeth having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ezpeleta AFC's Jairo Quilino got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 78th minute, Nogalito FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elpidio Sol fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Godoy in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atilano Lizbeth saved Nogalito FC from getting behind. Atilano Lizbeth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Godoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elpidio Sol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Atilano Lizbeth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ezpeleta AFC played a much better game than Nogalito FC and deserved their victory. The Nogalito FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
