Club S. y D. Colón's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Darragueira the free kick. Cosme Oliverios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Carolo Aguirre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Club S. y D. Colón getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Domingo Txordon hit a great ball. Club S. y D. Colón's Carolo Aguirre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Oliverios in the 14th minute of play. Carolo Aguirre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Oliverios in the 16th minute of play. If Fermin Castulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 minutes of play, Darragueira's Jeremias Soin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carolo Aguirre was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fermin Castulo in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carolo Aguirre saved Club S. y D. Colón from getting behind. Cecilio Gumaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aldo Madaleno in the 25th minute. In the 30th minute Darragueira were awarded a corner. Guaberto Lizar went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 31st minute, Aldo Madaleno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosme Oliverios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Aguirre having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Oliverios in the 37th minute of play forced Club S. y D. Colón's goalkeeper Carolo Aguirre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cosme Oliverios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 45 minutes, Fermin Castulo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Darragueira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Castulo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Fermin Castulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cosme Oliverios to strike the kick off in the second half. Cosme Oliverios did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Carolo Aguirre 53 minutes into the match. Cosme Oliverios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Carolo Aguirre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosme Oliverios struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Carolo Aguirre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Darragueira. After 67 played minutes Club S. y D. Colón got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Rufio. Ruben Pedroso missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 69 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Carolo Aguirre right hand side. Thanks to some nice moves Fermin Castulo could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Carolo Aguirre however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fermin Castulo got free with Carolo Aguirre in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the match, Club S. y D. Colón's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Oliverios came free, but Carolo Aguirre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremias Soin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Aguirre having to interfere. In the 85th minute Cosme Oliverios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Aguirre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavio Opilano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Aguirre having to interfere. If Fermin Castulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darragueira's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
