In the 38thth minute of the game Marcelo Otoniel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Industriales's Ciro Txema was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Abancens made a kick off. Hector Abancens struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Lino Aurre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Concepción had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
