Vinicio Etor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Saturnin in the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Domingo Saturnin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Etor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teofilo Gonzalez might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vinicio Etor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teofilo Gonzalez ran back to his position shaking his head. When Teofilo Gonzalez came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Cano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Gonzalez couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, Fabricio Marko dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rosendo Selmo, 1-0. Cristo Palos charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Vinicio Etor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingo Saturnin in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Andres Loco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosario Central AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cano the free kick. Andres Loco hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match.
