Everardo Gregory could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Benjamin Arnalt made a huge save. 12 minutes into the match, C.A.LANUS's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Harriet came free, but Clodoveo Oliverios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Marcelo Harriet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Clodoveo Oliverios was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benjamin Arnalt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 41 minutes, Edelmiro Farias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.LANUS and the Puerta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edelmiro Farias hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Puerta's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Cruz came free, but Benjamin Arnalt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelo Harriet made a kick off. Everardo Gregory sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Cruz in the 64th minute of play forced Puerta's goalkeeper Benjamin Arnalt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clodoveo Oliverios stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Harriet's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Anastasio Mambru struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Clodoveo Oliverios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puerta. In the 82nd minute, C.A.LANUS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anastasio Mambru fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Abelardo Cruz struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Benjamin Arnalt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.LANUS. The C.A.LANUS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Puerta's performance. The match ended with a win for Puerta.
