Alpatacal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Star FC the free kick. Jeremias Eli hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Sixto Savion's late challenge caught a Red Star FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sixto Savion helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, one of Alpatacal FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alpatacal FC. Silverio Paublo went to the wrong direction when Jacinto Telmo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 31st play minute Tobias Cedro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Silverio Paublo. 2-0. Claudio Eliazar hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Alpatacal FC's Jeremias Eli tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Justo Maties showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Feliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Clodoveo Chaime charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clodoveo Chaime the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Red Star FC got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Chaime. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After having played for 52 minutes, Tobias Cedro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Star FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobias Cedro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Alpatacal FC's goalie and right to Marcos Ralondo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Alpatacal FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Silverio Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Cedro in the 66th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, one of Alpatacal FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Marcos Ralondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Paublo having to interfere. When Marcos Ralondo came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Red Star FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Ralondo couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Alpatacal FC defense, Marcos Ralondo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silverio Paublo. The Alpatacal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silverio Paublo should have stopped the shot. In the 84thth minute of the game Marcos Ralondo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alpatacal FC's Silverio Paublo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tobias Cedro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Paublo having to interfere. Justo Maties made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Ariel Laurendi sent off a good shot on target. Silverio Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Cedro in the 95th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Ariel Laurendi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
