In the 18thth minute of the game Hipolito Ferdinand who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Martinez's Vinicio Gorosti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Donato Remigio's late challenge caught a Goldey's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Remigio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AC Martinez's Donato Remigio got a free kick in the 19th minute. With 45 minutes on the clock, Venancio Seme commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 44th minute, one of AC Martinez:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AC Martinez. The AC Martinez players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Goldey were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Constantino Acuña made the kick off in the second half.
