Marciano Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Brion having to interfere. AFALP's Eustacio Bastiaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Sadurni in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Marciano Franco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marciano Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marciano Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Remigio Birjaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Sadurni to strike the kick off in the second half. Bartolo Gaitan kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. If Mauro Lizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauro Lizar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Eustacio Bastiaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigio Birjaio got free with Haroldo Brion in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marciano Franco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haroldo Brion read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Rinconadillas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Marciano Franco scored to the left of an out of position Haroldo Brion, making the score, 0-2. Marciano Franco might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haroldo Brion. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marciano Franco ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigio Birjaio got free with Haroldo Brion in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Remigio Birjaio struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Haroldo Brion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFALP. After a rather tough play, Rinconadillas FC's Mauro Lizar got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Rinconadillas FC booed when AFALP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartolo Gaitan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigio Birjaio got free with Haroldo Brion in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Franco in the 92nd minute of play forced Rinconadillas FC's goalkeeper Haroldo Brion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Remigio Birjaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Rinconadillas FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AFALP were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
