An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Lizar in the 10th minute of play forced MonteGrande's goalkeeper Honorio Huly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barra AFC's Moises Pinto got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jesus Lizar was the one to do the kick off. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Barra AFC fully deserved thier win.
