Ciro Romelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Oto in the 16th minute of play. If Rigoberto Oto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Erramun kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Ciro Romelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Oto, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. If Mario Leoncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Villa Corina FC booed when Chilam Balam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Llorenc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severino Petrigai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Romelio having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Rodolfo Erramun took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Ciro Romelio to make any attempt to save it. Villa Corina FC's Rigoberto Oto got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Romelio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rigoberto Oto's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Severino Petrigai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ciro Romelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
