Spectators: 6641 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Romulo Goyo started the match with the kick off. Lucas Foro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Cordera having to interfere. After 4 played minutes Trejos FC got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Argoitz. Freddy Urki's late challenge caught a Trinchera AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Urki helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Trinchera AFC booed when Trejos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Urki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raul Cordera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Tanio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Trejos FC's zone, Lucas Foro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Cordera came out of the goal and Lucas Foro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raul Cordera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Tanio, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Ruben Ponc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 21 minutes, Enrique Tanio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trinchera AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Tanio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd match minute, Trejos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Goyo to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Foro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Raul Cordera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Foro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Tanio scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raul Cordera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Enrique Tanio kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Lucas Foro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raul Cordera. Trejos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Foro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 42 minutes of play, Trinchera AFC's Lucas Foro made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raul Cordera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrique Tanio to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Trinchera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Goyo came free, but Raul Sabin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Enrique Tanio came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Trinchera AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Tanio couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Foro got free with Raul Cordera in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 63 played minutes Trinchera AFC got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Fertus. Paolo Fertus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Raul Cordera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Trejos FC's goalkeeper Raul Cordera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Tanio in the 74th minute of play forced Trejos FC's goalkeeper Raul Cordera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Enrique Tanio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, Freddy Urki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Trejos FC's goalkeeper Raul Cordera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Foro. Trinchera AFC's Lucas Foro got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enrique Tanio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Raul Cordera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Lucas Foro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Raul Cordera, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Tanio in the 86th minute of play forced Trejos FC's goalkeeper Raul Cordera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Ospin charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Ospin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Trinchera AFC's Enrique Tanio in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Trejos FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match was over Trinchera AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Trejos FC throughout the match.
