After some careless play in the Cochrane AFC defense, Teodosio Henry kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fermin Ekain. The Cochrane AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fermin Ekain should have stopped the shot. Florentino Javiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fermin Ekain didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodosio Henry went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Marco Atarratze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Teodoro Guillelme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Teodoro Guillelme managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Cochrane AFC's Marco Atarratze fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Teodoro Guillelme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Atarratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Marco Atarratze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Cochrane AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Henry came free, but Fermin Ekain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Pascual Rodas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cochrane AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EL RAYA the free kick. When Marco Atarratze fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cochrane AFC's protests and gave Marco Atarratze a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of EL RAYA booed when Cochrane AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Atarratze didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cochrane AFC's Fermin Ekain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Henry in the 29th minute of play. Esteve Damario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Atarratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Guillelme having to interfere. Esteve Damario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Cochrane AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. EL RAYA were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Atarratze to strike the kick off in the second half. Teodoro Guillelme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Atarratze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto Tirso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Ekain having to interfere. Florentino Javiar scored 0-3 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fermin Ekain, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Cochrane AFC booed when EL RAYA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Jatsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Marco Atarratze cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Teodoro Guillelme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Marco Atarratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, EL RAYA's Florentino Javiar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fermin Ekain narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teodoro Guillelme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Atarratze in the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Teodosio Henry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cochrane AFC's Fermin Ekain proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Cochrane AFC from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched EL RAYA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
